Using the skill tree in ARC Raiders isn't passive or solely about short-term gains. It gives you more agency and autonomy in your gameplay, unlike games like Escape From Tarkov and Hunt Showdown.

You can freely use many skill points to create your own unique playstyle, which is incredibly liberating in the game. Note that out of 135 skill points, ARC Raiders' skill tree system only provides 75, which can be confusing for players.

However, planning your skill points in advance with this guide can effectively reduce mistakes. So, if you want a stronger skill combination and to conquer the game, use this guide with confidence.Wait, only 75 skill points? Here's how to stop wasting them in ARC Raiders

Early Game Skills

In the early game, the most worthwhile skill to prioritize is In-Round Crafting, which is undoubtedly crucial in the survival skill tree. Even if you need to invest skill points in Agile Croucher and Revitalizing Squat first, it will greatly benefit you in later combat.

The benefits of in-round crafting are that it provides you with basic survival skills and related tools. Items like Shield Rechargers, Bandages, and Grenades will be invaluable in later, time-consuming battles, and it also reduces your storage space and costs.

Besides crafting the essential ARC Raiders Items, pay attention to stamina, which is a worthwhile early-game asset. When your physical strength is low, dodging and running become your primary means of survival. Therefore, prioritize upgrading Marathon Runner and Useful Lungs skills to reduce resource consumption and increase stamina.

If you need to further reduce stamina consumption, you need to consider the most advantageous sliding escape method when facing danger. Therefore, you can choose to invest 3 skill points in Slip and Slide movement skill tree. Alternatively, Carry The Momentum is also a good option.

Mid-Game Skills

After acquiring good movement and survival skills, the next step is to invest skill points in Looter's Instincts. Not only is resource hoarding paramount at this stage, but the next phase of the game requires an additional 12 skill points.

After that, investing in Revitalizing Squat and Silent Scavenger to improve stealth skills is also a good option. The continuous increase in points allows you to choose between Suffer In Silence or stamina regeneration in Traveling Tinkerer skill tree when the next upgrade arrives, depending on your preference.

The existence of Traveling Tinkerer clearly allows you to upgrade anytime, anywhere during ARC Raiders, whenever you need it. This is very convenient for improving your gear and combat advantages. The highly attractive Security Breach skill requires a total of 36 points in Survival skill tree.

Upgrading crafting skills puts our inventory space to the test. Using Broad Shoulders skill increases your carrying capacity. Towards the end of the mid-game phase, you can again spend more time on One Raider's Scraps and Agile Croucher.

Late-Game Skills

Even in the late game, security skills remain crucial. Security Breach skill, unlocked by investing 6 skill points, allows you to open safes on any map.

Due to the high skill point investment required early on, Security Breach isn't the first choice for most players. However, this high investment yields a high return, making it arguably the most powerful scavenging tool in ARC Raiders. This includes, but is not limited to, ARC Raiders blueprints, weapons, and high-value materials.

In the skill tree, Conditioning deserves your attention in the final stages. From a practical standpoint, you can prioritize investing skill points in the following: Used To The Weight, Gentle Pressure, Proficient Pryer, Unburdened Roll, A Little Extra, and Loading Arms.

If you have more preferred skills, you can complete any of the previous skills. However, don't be misled by the names of Survival's Effortless Roll and Calming Stroll; their investment and return are disproportionately low. Of course, Crawl Before You Walk skill is very helpful in increasing your movement speed.

Overall, the branches within Conditioning tree, Mobility skill tree, and Survival tree are all suitable for in-depth study to improve your unique skills. For character progression, ARC Raiders uses built-in progression instead of the traditional prestige system.

This becomes available after level 20; all meta content is reset, but you'll gain additional ARC Raiders Items and seasonal benefits from new characters. Seasonal benefits stack, but you must ensure you don't miss the next season's expedition window.

The above provides a general introduction and hints about ARC Raiders' skill trees. Hopefully, you now have a better understanding of your skill choices and preferences.
