Shapeshifting Builds are Back | Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred brings tons of New Druid Unique Gear
Druid is a highly promising class in Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred, and now it has received even more upgraded gear. Perhaps you also want to better unleash the potential of this class? Let's explore together.
Players, are you ready for Druid in Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred? While many believe Druid isn't the strongest build, Lord of Hatred brings a wealth of new Druid gear, proving it remains a very promising build. Let's explore all the new Druid gear you need to know.
New Uniques
Accord of the Wilds
This Unique Ring allows each of your Companion skills to gain an additional companion, dealing up to 50% bonus damage. You also gain the passive effects of Ravens, Wolves, and Poison Creeper for free.
This is a pretty good ring, perfect for a summoner build.
Autumnal Crown
This is Druid's Unique Helm. Wind Shear now inflicts poison damage over 4 seconds and has a up to 20% chance to restore Spirit.

Wind Shear used to be meta, but it's been suppressed by Pulverize in recent seasons. We might be witnessing its strong comeback in Lord of Hatred.
Dirge of Airidah
This Unique Ring grants 1 Spirit to each of your Storm Skills, plus a maximum damage bonus of 35%. This bonus is doubled against Vulnerable, Immobilized, and Slowed enemies.
However, it's currently unclear whether it stacks three times across the three status effects. If it does, it's very strong; otherwise, it's mediocre. Providing 1 Spirit is quite low; it depends on whether the mechanics allow for multiple bonuses.
Fractured Runestone
Your Earth Skills deal up to 50% Critical Strike damage. This bonus can be doubled when you have at least 4 stacks of Overpower. You also passively gain 2 stacks of Overpower every 10 seconds.
The Overpower mechanic will be adjusted in the new season; we'll see how it performs in Druid.
Fury of the Wilds
This ring looks very useful because it grants you Berserking for 8 seconds while Shapeshift is Werewolf and Werebear.
During Berserking, you gain 1 stack of Ferocity per second. Ferocity damage is also increased by 10%.
Greenwalker's Oath
This is a unique boot. It grants Poison Creeper Germinate Variant, with a damage bonus of up to 40%.
Greenwalker's Signet
You can see interesting skill synergies with Greenwalker's Signet. When you cast or channel a Human Skill, there is a 15% chance to trigger another equipped non-Ultimate Human Skill. Human Skill also has a 40-50% damage bonus.
Heart of Azgar
A Unique Chest Armor. When you hit at least one enemy with Maul, your Attack Speed ββis increased by 3%, and this stacks. More recommended for basic builds.
Ifeh's Dire Totem
Grizzly Rage becomes a Werewolf Skill, turning you into a Dire Werewolf. You'll then have up to 125% Critical Strike Damage, 125% bonus Poisoning damage, and Spirit Cost Reduction.
Additionally, there's Life Steal on kill, but it's useless in boss fights. Critical Strike and Poison rarely stack simultaneously, but new synergies may emerge.
Mark of the Old Wolf
It grants bonus Poisoning damage.
Might of the Ursine
In Werebear form, each Resolve stack provides up to 13% bonus damage, and you automatically gain 1 Resolve stack per second.
Resolve originally provided damage reduction, but now it provides additional damage, making it a very useful ring.
Purified Lightbringer
Pulverize pulls distant enemies towards you. If the target is an Unstoppable or Boss, the bonus damage is increased by up to 250%.
This Unique 2h Mace works even better when paired with Rotting Lightbringer.
Thundergod's Blessing
While limited to lightning damage, it can deal up to 300% bonus damage to Close enemies.
Will of Stone
Earth Spikes become projectiles, summoning 2-4 additional Earth Spikes upon impact.
If your damage output is high enough, this Unique Helm item offers considerable playability.
Reworked Uniques
Airidah's Inexorable Will
Your Storm Strike chains to twice the number of targets, gaining up to 10% bonus damage.
The updated 10% is still a bit low; there might be other mechanics that stack it.
Dolmen Stone
The updated Dolmen Stone makes Boulder deal damage via explosion.
Gathlin's Birthright
Cyclone Armor triggers automatically every 5-8 seconds, without triggering Cooldown.
The benefit of this Unique Helm item is unlikely to be significant.
Greatstaff of the Crone
Claw now gains all Variants. The old version was actually cooler, but never became mainstream.
Hunter's Zenith
When a Hurricane ends or lasts for 10 seconds, it explodes, dealing damage equivalent to 40 Hurricane hits.
Forcing a Hurricane to end and reset the stack could be problematic; further testing is needed.
Insatiable Fury
Within 2 seconds of casting Trample, it can be cast again without triggering Cooldown, and the damage is greatly increased.
This update to Unique Chest Armor suggests a possible return for Trampleslide build.
Khamsin Steppewalkers
The original was weak, but the new version now includes a free upgrade to Earthen Shrapnel from Earthen Bulwark, significantly increasing damage. It needs to be re-evaluated in conjunction with the new Skill Tree.
Mad Wolf's Glee
Lacerate no longer has Cooldown, costs 100 Spirit and deals a lot of extra damage, but no longer provides Immunity.
Lacerate is now a Core Skill, so upgrade it as much as possible. Combined with Diablo 4 Uniques like Flickerstep, it will have a good damage multiplier.
Malefic Crescent
It allows you to automatically cast Blood Howl every 4 seconds when you Shapeshift into Werewolf. Each Blood Howl trigger grants bonus damage.
Upgrading it in conjunction with Blood Howl could be very interesting.
Stone of Vehemen
Stone Burst used to be a good skill. Now, when you channel Stone Burst, you gain 40% All Resistance. Furthermore, the final explosion of Stone Burst deals massive damage.
The Basilisk
Petrified enemies will be critically struck, up to 100% critically struck.
Waxing Gibbous
Shred deals up to 25% more damage and has a 25% chance to strike an additional time, up to 4 times. Stacking critical strikes should be easy now.
Wildheart Hunger
Even with the 100% increase in Rabies spread speed, these unique boots are almost useless in boss fights.
Druid received the most new gear of any class; perhaps Pulverize will remain a powerful choice in the future. Let's look forward to how these items perform!
