Diablo 4 Season 9 Obducite Farming Guide: How To Get It Efficiently With An Unfixed Bug?

The new patch for Diablo 4 season 9 is now live, and unfortunately, it destroys our best sites. The ability to repeatedly farm Horadric Strongrooms in the season quest Embers Yet Smolder is no longer possible.

But it's not completely useless now, there are some other ways to get more resources for you.

I have two suggestions for this time. The first one is simple, you just need to repeatedly farm Escalating Nightmare Dungeons to get a lot of Obducites. However, this requires a lot of Escalating Nightmare Sigils - which means you have to spend more time farming Strongrooms.

So, I suggest another form, which is based on another bug that has not been fixed in the new patch, which allows you to get a lot of Obducite in addition to a lot of Escalating Nightmare Sigils.

This bug was widely circulated before the patch was released. But now I think it has become the best way to get Obducite.

What Is The Best Way To Get Obducite?

So, let's get started. It's pretty simple, all you need to do is log in and use any Escalating Nightmare Sigil. It doesn't have to have Horadric Strongroom or Repair effect, it can have any single affix.

Now, when you open this sigil, your map will immediately be centered on Nightmare Dungeon you just opened, however, we are not going to enter this place.

Instead, we are going to go through the boss tiers on the map one by one. I usually start with Grigoire and then go down. But it doesn't matter, any order is up to you. So, we are going to check each boss tier. We just go into these boss tiers and look for something special.

We are looking for the activation point of Horadric Wayfinder, which is the purple beam that points to the Horadric Strongroom in Nightmare Dungeon. If we can't find it in a specific boss tier, we go to the next one and keep cycling through the boss tiers until we find this purple beam.

So once you find the boss level with Horadric Wayfinder activated, you should follow it so that you reach a Horadric Strongroom.

Locating The Boss Level, Infinite Loop Farm Resources

So again, once you open any Nightmare Dungeon sigil, you can find this Horadric Strongroom on the boss level, not in Nightmare Dungeon.

From now on, it should be obvious what you need to do. You should enter Horadric Strongroom and loot the chest at the end of the Horadric Strongroom after completing the level normally.

On Normal difficulty, this will get you some Diablo 4 Items, an Escalation Sigil, and about 2300 Obducites.

And the amazing part is that this quest is repeatable. This means that once you complete the first Strongroom, you can use the portal to teleport out of Strongroom and then teleport to the Boss Level.

So, you seem to have entered a loop, switching between different boss layers again, and one of the layers will activate the Horadric Wayfinder again, directing you to enter another Horadric Strongroom.

You can keep doing this until your original Nightmare Dungeon is open. You can use this opportunity to complete a team.

As long as one of your partners finds the correct boss layer where the Horadric Strongroom is located, it means that everyone in the team can teleport to that person, which is too efficient!

This new trick of farm Obducite is not only simple and easy to use, but also efficient in teaming, and the guaranteed reward is also very attractive. Come and invite your partners to team up to complete the task together.
