Pure Quartz in Palworld is a very useful special material in the game, but many players are not sure how to get it. In fact, Pure Quartz is located in the northernmost part of the map, specifically in the snow biome called Astral Mountains. Since it is a snowy area, it is very important to wear cold-resistant equipment to prevent your character from being damaged by the cold.

First, make sure you have a higher-level pickaxe to mine, which will speed up the mining process and avoid spending too much time on gathering. It is recommended that you use a metal pickaxe (15 stone, 20 wood, 5 ingots) for mining.

How To Find Pure Quartz In Palworld?

The way to find Pure Quartz is very similar to how you find ore and coal. They appear in the form of stones. To distinguish them, you can observe whether there are traces of ice and snow on these stones.

Pure Quartz is scattered throughout the snow biome, but a convenient location in the game is near Pristine Snow Field fast teleport point southwest of Astral Mountains. A few meters away from the fast travel point, at the exact coordinates (-354, 296), you will find a stone block near the ore Copperstone that can be used to obtain Pure Quartz.

Keep in mind that this is not the only location, and Pure Quartz can also be found in multiple areas of Snow Biome.

The location mentioned above is just a convenient location near the fast travel point, which can easily travel back and forth between your base and the location of Pure Quartz.

Another notable location is near the coordinates (-213, 252). There is a large amount of Pure Quartz here, and we recommend setting up a base here to automate the mining of the ore.

If you continue to walk a little further east, you will find more Pure Quartz nodes nearby, at the coordinates of approximately (-205, 254). Going further north, at approximately the coordinates of (-244, 396), you will find more ore, close to Pal Genetic Research Unit.

After you reach level 50, you can also build a Pure Quartz mine at your base. This requires 70 stones, 100 Pure Quartz and 30 Paldium Fragments to make.
