The End of Garrosh

Garrosh Hellscream's rule has reached a critical juncture. Despite the departure of his allies, he maintains firm control of Horde's capital, Orgrimmar, and commands a loyal elite force of Kor'kron soldiers.

This force's supply lines run throughout Barrens, allowing Garrosh to sustain its military strength. Overthrowing this tyrant will be no simple task; players must be well-prepared for a grueling struggle.

Against this backdrop, Darkspear Trolls have raised the banner of rebellion, while Alliance has deployed SI:7 agents to weaken Garrosh through covert operations. Horde warriors will assist Vol'jin's insurgency in direct combat against Kor'kron forces.

New Scenario Campaigns

MoP Season 4 introduces several new scenario campaigns, each offering unique combat environments and objectives. In Battle on High Seas, players must defend their fleet and fight for control of vast seas. The fast-paced naval battles emphasize teamwork and tactical execution.

Blood in Snow shifts the battlefield to Dun Morogh, where players, after dispelling the magical storm of Shimmer Ridge, will assist Moira and her guards against the threat of Frostmane trolls. This scenario blends environmental puzzles with direct combat, offering a varied and engaging pace.

Dark Heart of Pandaria responds to the call of Horde's High Warchief, requiring players to travel to Vale of Eternal Blossoms to assist goblin engineers in investigating a mysterious artifact.

However, as the investigation deepens, trouble ensues. The final new scenario, Secrets of Ragefire, takes place in Durotar, where players must infiltrate Emberdeep Caverns and cooperate with Gob Squad to investigate a series of bizarre disappearances. These scenarios not only enrich the storyline of Pandaria and the surrounding region but also provide players with new avenues for acquiring gear and reputation.

Glory and Trials

For players seeking a greater challenge, Heroic difficulty is now available in some scenarios following this MoP Phase 4 update. Heroic Scenarios require players to form a full party beforehand and cannot be accessed through random matchmaking. Each Heroic Scenarios feature additional bonus objectives; completing these objectives earns Valor Points and a chance to obtain WoW MoP Classic Gold and epic gear.

The initial release includes six Heroic Scenarios, including enhanced versions of the four new scenarios mentioned above, as well as two separate new experiences: Crypt of Forgotten Kings and A Brewing Storm.

Players earn additional Valor Points daily for completing Normal or Heroic scenarios, making daily scenario campaigns an effective way to level up their characters.

Mission Campaign: Escalation

Following Phase 4 update, a mission campaign called Escalation is now available. Alliance players will scout around Orgrimmar and execute covert operations in SI:7, aiming to weaken Garrosh's base of control from both the outside and inside.

Horde players will directly join Vol'jin's invasion, engaging in guerrilla warfare and direct confrontations with Kor'kron forces on multiple fronts. To begin this questline, players must travel to Seat of Knowledge in Vale of Eternal Blossoms and visit Lorewalker Cho. As the quest progresses, players will gradually learn the full picture of Barrens conflict and unlock deeper engagement related to Battlefield: Barrens event.

Barrens Tug-of-War

This is a large-scale, ongoing event taking place in northern Barrens. The player's core objective is to destroy the supply lines of Kor'kron forces. This includes defeating loyalists loyal to Garrosh, collecting various strategic resources, and escorting friendly caravans safely to their destination.

As the player's faction gradually gathers strength to overthrow Warchief, participants will receive upgrade materials for Latent Kor'kron Armor, which provides significant attribute bonuses and increased survivability within the event area. To fully engage in this battlefield event, players must first progress through Escalation campaign, which guides players on how to effectively intervene in Barrens conflict and grants initial reputation and quest items.

The Legend Continues

The legend of Wrathion is far from over. In this update, players who have completed the prerequisite quests and reached the milestone of Heart of Thunder King will be summoned to various parts of Pandaria to visit August Celestials.

They will be given new trials and missions, propelling Wrathion's plans to the next stage. It's important to note that players who haven't completed Wrathion's previous quests cannot access the subsequent content in this update. Therefore, for characters who want to fully experience this story, it is recommended that they complete the prerequisite quest chain first.

Brawler's Guild Under Fire

Both Brawl'gar Arena in Orgrimmar and Bizmo's Brawlpub in Stormwind have undergone significant changes. Bizmo, the arena manager, has raised the arena floor, ostensibly to improve the spectators' visibility, but rumors also suggest it's concealing traces of battle. Whatever the reason, players can now challenge multiple bosses in new tiers and access a VIP area reserved for top-ranked brawlers.

In addition, unique challenge cards will now randomly drop from mobs and can be obtained through reward satchels. These cards allow players to unlock additional reward chests. Players who successfully reach level 9 in Brawler's Guild will receive an extra invitation to the guild, which can be traded or gifted to friends, providing a new option for social sharing.

MoP Phase 4 update seamlessly integrates narrative, scenario battles, open-world events, and hardcore challenges. Players can follow the questline to witness the gradual collapse of Garrosh's rule, test their skills and teamwork in Heroic Scenarios, and experience the intensity of factional conflict in the large-scale clashes in Barrens.

Regardless of the path chosen, Pandaria and its surrounding areas offer increased tension and a richer content density. For players who haven't yet completed their preparations, it's recommended to prioritize completing Wrathion's legendary questline and using WoW MoP Classic Gold to build a gear base to smoothly handle Heroic difficulty scenarios and the new bosses in Brawler's Guild.
